"Solar Wind" hanging stained glass artwork. Based upon the wide variety of radiation streaming out from the sun, the visible light is split into what our eyes can perceive. I look forward to humans someday developing solar wind powered spacecraft; hence the "sails" and "rudder."
"Mercury" with the "Solar System" framing. Installed above the front entranceway in a private home. Being so close to the Sun, Mercury is burned orange-brown, and is subject to the tremendous forces of the Sun's gravity and radiation.
"Venus" the bringer of beauty. I drew upon the mythological description of Venus, the goddess of love, who arose from the sea foam. This design not only shows the thick cloud layer of the planet, but turns that into a draping of the hair of the goddess.

"Earth" the bringer of Life. Gold spiritual Yin/Yang with the blue of the water, white of the clouds and ice, browns of the land, and greens of the growing things. Surrounding the planet is the clear textured glass representing the life-giving atmosphere.
"Moonglow" in reds and green. I originally created Moonglow in soft iridescent whites and blues and purples. My client wanted it in deep, rich reds and greens. It features open spaces.
"Mars" the bringer of war. Based upon listening to Holst's "Mars: the Bringer of War" symphonic tone poem, and incorporating the shield and lances of Native American plains tribes. This piece is a plated piece, which means it has 2 different layers of glass soldered together to produce unique colors and patterns. The piece was approximately 5 feet in height. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during
